My name is Mia and I'm the sole owner of Denver Pet Pals. I have over 7 years of experience taking care of pets. I learned a lot about different types of behavior while working at an animal shelter in Dallas. I will be patient and calm with your pet when they are getting to know me. I am comfortable around all breeds and sizes. I do not have pets myself, so I can board dogs with me who need to be the only pet in the house. Denver Pet Pals is insured and bonded by Pet Sitters Association and certified in CPR and First Aid through K9.

This is my first time using Denver Pet Pals, what should I do first?

Please email me at denverpetpals@gmail.com to set up a meet and greet or you can click “Request a Service” at the top of the page. 

What are your office hours?

Office hours for booking a service is between Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm. 

What neighborhoods do you service?

I service the South and Southwest Denver, Platt Park, Ruby Hill, Englewood, Littleton, Sheridan, and South Lakewood. 

 

If you are not located in these neighborhoods, feel free to reach out and I may be able to connect you with a sitter/walker who services your neighborhood. 

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept Venmo, Zelle, cash, and check. 

What is the deposit for and what is the cancelation policy for overnights?

Deposits for Overnight Services
A 50% deposit is required to reserve dates for any overnight services. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the service. The remaining balance is due at the start of the service or within 24 hours following the completion of the service.
 

Cancellation Policy for Overnight Services
If the service is canceled at least 2 months prior to the scheduled start date, the deposit will be refunded in full within one week of notice.


If the service is canceled with less than 2 months' notice, the deposit will be forfeited.


If the booking is made within 2 months of the scheduled service date, the deposit is non-refundable.

 

Will you give my pet medication?

I am happy to discuss what medication your pet needs during our meet and greet.

Is there an additional charge for holidays?

Yes, due to the high demand during these holidays there is an addition cost ranging from $5 to $20 depending on the service. The exact cost will be listed in the Service page.
